It is a long-awaited call and Twitter is finally picking it up as it’s bringing on board an edit button to the platform, just like other social media platforms across the globe.

“If you see an edited Tweet, it’s because we’re testing the edit button. This is happening and you’ll be OK,” the company tweeted.
The special package, Twitter Blue is currently available in four countries – US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand – but initial tests will be limited to just one country.

“Edit Tweet is a feature that lets people make changes to their Tweet after it’s been published. Think of it as a short period of time to do things like fix typos, add missed tags, and more.
“In this case, tweets will be available to edit a few times in the 30 minutes after tweeting on the platform.
For context, the time limit and version history play an important role here. They help protect the integrity of the conversation and create a publicly accessible record of what was said.” The company shared.
