In response to the recent shooting and killing of Nigerians at a church in Owo, Ondo state, Ruger has suggested his fellow citizens getting guns in place of Permanent Voter Card (PVC).

It would be recalled that 50 worshippers brutally lost their lives and many injured after gunmen attacked St Francis Church.

After the incident, Nigerians took to social media to mourn the loss as well as pray for the families affected by this tragedy.

In the same vein, they also encouraged Nigerian youths to get their voter’s cards for the change to begin.

“Maybe we should get guns instead of this fucking PVC. to hell with this country.” Reacting to the news, Ruger revealed it would be better to get guns instead of PVC. According to him, Nigeria has failed its citizens and it is time these citizens take laws into their own hands.

Some Nigerians who commented seem to agree with the musician. @YemisiYradeniyi says, “All Nigerians should start carrying guns/weapons for self defense. The Federal and state governments are suffering from paralysis. #owomassacre #Nigeriaisbleeding.”

As expected, some disagree with Ruger. @_Nonso says “How would guns resolve the economy crisis of the nation? What correlates the shooting that happened with PVC? There was shooting too in America recently targeted at School children. So go get your pvc if you are old enough. Mind you, Two wrongs can never make a right…”
