Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) and his wife Mary have been listed among the most wanted people in South Africa.
Bushiri Listed As Most Wanted Man In South Africa

The listing has been confirmed in a statement released by Minister of Justice and Correction Services in South Africa dated July 25, 2022.

According to the statement, the South Africa Justice Ministry is working hand in hand with the Director of Public Prosecution in Malawi to have Bushiri and his wife extradited.

Bushiri and his wife Mary are accused of money laundering and fraud.

The family claimed that they escaped South Africa based on grounds of unfair treatment and persecution.

Bushiri and his wife escaped from South in early 2022.
