Police Uncover Hotel where Teenage Girls are Traded for Sex, Babies Factory

Akwa , Nigeria – The Anambra State Police Command said it has discovered a hotel within the state where teenage girls between the ages of 14 and 17 years old are allegedly used as sex slaves, prostitutes and sell babies got from illegitimate pregnancies.

The said hotel is situated at Nkpor Idemili-North Local Government Area of the state.

The state Police Commissioner Echeng Eworo Echeng who disclosed this to the public via the press statement released by the spokesman of the Command DSP Ikenga Tochi advised parents and guardians to keep an eye on their children especially the type of companies they keep to avoid negative influences.

“We advise parent/guardian to always create a deliberate relationship with their children/wards. This will help to guide and direct them in their activities. It will help to monitor against unforeseen issues and bad company.

Following a rigorous analysis of crime trends and patterns, the Command Operatives working on information burst a hotel named Gally Gally in Nkpor where they use children between the ages of 14 years – 17years for sex slaves, prostitution and baby factory.

The Operatives rescued, 35 girls and 4 of them are pregnant.

The police also arrested 3 persons namely: Mrs Ifeoma Uzo age ‘F’ 35yrs, Chidiebere Alaka ‘M’ 28years and Nweke Chidiebere.

“We recovered three pump action gun, seven cartridges and cash sum of Eight hundred and seventy-seven thousand, five hundred naira (N877,500). The Suspects arrested are being interrogated with a view to eliciting information on their involvement and unmasking other gang members.

“We also have NAPTIV whom we shall hand over the victims for the welfare and rehabilitation of the children. All suspects will be charged to court at the end of investigations.”, the statement read.
