The Ekiti Police Command have arrested a man and his mother for allegedly kidnapping a 15-year-old girl for sexual exploitation.
The suspects, Adewumi Ademiloye and his mother, Felicia are trapped down on March 15, based on intelligent information.
Police spokesman Sunday Abutu said in a statement yesterday that the girl went missing in March 2019 after leaving home for extra-mural classes in preparation for the West Africa Secondary School Certificate examination.

Abutu said the teenager’s parents reported to the police that their daughter was missing but all efforts to find her failed.
He said, “On 15/3/2022, that is about three years later, the victim’s mother received credible information about her daughter’s whereabouts.
“She then alerted the Juvenile Welfare Centre (JWC) of the State CID who then swung into action and traced the missing girl to the house of one Mrs Ademiloye Felicia.

“The victim was immediately rescued while Mrs Ademiloye Felicia and her son, Adewumi Ademiloye, were arrested for further investigation.
The Ademiloyes were paid the sums ranging from N10,000 to N20,000 to have sexual intercourse with the 15-year-old.
