Naira Gathers Strength, Exchanges At N461.10 To $1

Abuja, Nigeria – The naira exchanged at N461.10 to $1 on Thursday at the official market – Investors and Exporters window.

Closely observing the trend, the figure represented an appreciation of 0.02 per cent compared with the N461.17 it exchanged on Wednesday.

The open indicative rate closed at N461.25 to the dollar on Thursday, NAN reports.

An exchange rate of N462 to $1 was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N461.10.

The naira sold for as low as N439.96 to $1 within the day’s trading.

Analyzing transaction, a total of $40.24 million was traded at the official Investors and Exporters Window on Thursday.
