Argentina’s Lionel Mess and Spain’s Alexia Putellas have won the Best FIFA Football Awards on Monday night, in the men and women category respectively.

In the seventh edition of The Best FIFA Football Awards that took place in Paris, eleven prizes were prepared and were based on performance of players between August 2021 and December 2022.
Manchester United’s Mary Earps and England player took the lead as the FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year. While, Emiliano Martinez of Argentina and Aston Villa has then crowned the best men’s goalkeeper of 2022.
Other players that were recognized include Emiliano Martínez, Sarina Wiegman, Lionel Scaloni, Marcin Oleksy, and Luka Lochoshvili. See the full list below;
