A lot of fans have reacted to the called-out tweet made by the heavyweight champion Tyson Fury towards the British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua on a title fight for the WBC belt.
There were speculations that Fury was considering retiring from the sport after defeating Dillian Whyte in April. But there have been reports that he has been seeking a high-profile bout with Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
On Monday 5th September, 2022, Fury posted on his social media accounts, that he is ready to get into the ring with Joshua his currently hold WBC belt.
“Yo @anthonyjoshua what you saying big G let’s give the fanz what they want as Usyk is bitching??? I got the date and venue who will rule Britannia?” he tweeted.
Joshua is still fresh off a point loss to the Ukrainian Usyk in a rematch last month, after surrendering the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO belts to the same opponent last September via a decision loss.

Usyk will not be ready for a unification bout with Fury until 2023, and Fury believes that fans want to see a heavyweight fight soon and is prepared to fight Joshua first in December.
However, AJ as popularly called responded to Fury, telling him to contact his management and that he would be ready in December.
“Yea, calm,” Joshua posted. “I don’t do the online discussions just for clout, so if you’re really about it, shout @258mgt. I’ll be ready in December.”
