”We wake up to the sad news of the murder of our leader, teacher, elder statesman, politician and grassroots community mobiliser and the abduction of his two daughters. We are saddened by the spate of attacks, killings, and abduction of Eggon notable sons and daughters, as well as other residents of Nasarawa state,” the group said.

The youths added, ”The killings and abduction of innocent citizens have become a recurring decimal in almost all parts of the state and this is not good for our dear state. We call on the state government and the security agencies to intensify efforts toward arresting the perpetrators and be made to face the full wrath of the law.
