9 Policemen Killed In Pakistan Suicide Bombing

At least nine (9) policemen have been killed in a suicide bomb blast that occurred in southwest Pakistan on Monday, a police spokesperson said.

It was gathered according to Reuters that a suicide bomber rammed a motorcycle into a police truck which resulted to the unfortunate situation.

Police Spokesman, Mehmood Khan Notizai told Reuters the attack took place in Sibbi, a city some 160 km (100 miles) east of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province.

Speaking with hospital officials, it was noted that at least 7 policemen were wounded in the attack, the latest in a series targeting police personnel in Pakistan.
However, no group has yet claimed responsibility for March 6 2023 attack.
Ethnic Baloch guerrillas have been fighting the government for decades, accusing it of exploiting Balochistan’s rich gas and mineral resources.
