Ilesa-Osun, Nigeria – Unknown gunmen have murdered Gbenga Ogbara, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Atakumosa East Central Local Government Area of Osun State.
Information reaching Newwebbs affirmed that the unknown armed men stormed the deceased home in Ogangan on Monday morning and aimed at him with gun shots leading to his death.
The Osun Command Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident, stating that the investigation is ongoing.

“The APC Chairman was killed around 12am by some gunmen. Policemen have since been deployed to the area.
Investigation is ongoing on the matter. The criminals will not escape justice.” Opalola said.
Speaking to the residents where the unfortunate incident happened, some believed it is a planned attack by the opposition party due to preparation for the 2023 elections.
