Bauchi, Nigeria – Eighteen (18) persons were burnt beyond recognition in an auto crash on Wednesday in the Narbodo village of Toro council in Bauchi.

FRSC sector commander Yusuf Abdullahi disclosed this in a road traffic report on Thursday.
Mr Abdullahi said the crash involved one Toyota Hiace bus and an articulated vehicle. Three people on board the trailer survived the crash unscathed.
The incident occurred around 4:40 p.m. It took the FRSC personnel some seven minutes to clear the site at the crash, explained the sector commander.
He attributed the cause of the crash to a speed violation which led to a head-on collision between the two vehicles.
